Surrounded by her loving family, Wanda C. Wolfe, of Spring Mills, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Hershey Medical Center after a short illness. She was 75. Born June 18, 1950, in Lock Haven, Wanda was a daughter of the late Gene L. and Phyllis D. (Hazel) Auman. She was a 1968 graduate of Penns Valley High School. On September 12, 1970, she married the love of her life, Russell A. “Peanut” Wolfe who survives.
In addition to her husband, Wanda is survived by one daughter, Stacey Wolfe (Scott); one son, Matthew Wolfe (Valerie); five grandchildren, Isaac Zettle (Alyssa), Skylar Zettle, Hayley Wolfe, Logan Wolfe and Aaron Wolfe. Also surviving is one great grandson, Kash Snider. In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by two brothers, Alan Auman and Blair Auman.
Wanda dedicated her career to serving others through her work as a loan clerk with USDA Rural Development. She found joy in life’s quieter pleasures--- puzzles, flower gardening and watching the birds that visited her yard. She was a woman of faith, attending Faith Alive Fellowship in Spring Mills, and she poured love into each blanket she sewed and donated to the Operation Christmas Child Program.
Wanda truly cherished the special tradition of attending the Muzzleloader Rendezvous with Peanut, an experience that brought her great happiness year after year. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family and friends---gathering together, sharing laughter, and creating memories that will live on in all of our hearts forever.
In accordance with Wanda’s wishes all services are private. She will be laid to rest in Heckman Cemetery. To honor Wanda’s memory, donations may be given to Faith Alive Fellowship, 4394 Penns Valley Road, Spring Mills, PA 16875.
