William S. Coutts, Jr., of Coburn, passed away at his home on November 10, 2019. Born March 5, 1946 in Shamokin, Bill was a son of the late William S. Coutts, Sr. and Mary D. Kelser. He was a 1964 graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic High School in Coal Township.
Upon graduation, Bill served his country in the United State Army as a Military Policeman. After returning home he was employed as a Union Carpenter in General Construction. He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America. Bill was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a member of the Elysburg Gun Club where he enjoyed trapshooting. Bill also enjoyed volunteering for many Veterans functions.
Surviving is one sister, Lois Sejuit of Mt Carmel, one nephew, Jeffrey Sejuit (Michelle) of Sunbury, and several nieces and nephews. Bill will be laid to rest in the St Edwards Cemetery in Shamokin.
