Florence E. Rearick

Florence E. Rearick, of Millheim, passed from this life on Saturday, June 9, 2018.  She was 80.  Born April 29, 1938 in Spring Mills, Florence was a daughter of the late Samuel W. and Bertha E. (Korman) Rearick.  She was a 1956 graduate of Penns Valley Area High School.   She began employment at the high school immediately following graduation.  Later she worked at Pattee Library at Penn State University and retired from there.  

Florence was a member of the former St. John’s Union Church in Farmers Mills, where she served doing their secretarial duties.  She is survived by seven nieces and nephews and their families.    She was preceded in death by one sister Sara J. (Rearick) Boop and her husband, Neil; one brother, Lewis L. Rearick and his wife Lois, and one nephew, Roger W. Boop.

In accordance with family wishes, all services are private.  Florence will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Millheim.  Contributions in her memory may be given to the Roger W. Boop Scholarship Fund, c/o Penns Valley Area High School, 4528 Penns Valley Road, Spring Mills, PA 16875. Arrangements are entrusted to the Steven R.
