Phyllis J. (Decker) Kerstetter

Phyllis J. Kerstetter, of Rebersburg, passed from this life on Monday, July 30, 2018 at her home.  She was 88.  Born July 15, 1930 in Lewistown, Phyllis was a daughter of the late Chester and Sara (Henry) Decker.  She was a graduate of the Gregg Township Vocational School.  On July 19, 1949, she married Dean R. Kerstetter who survives at their home.

Also surviving is one daughter, Bonnie L. Lilyquist of Howard; one granddaughter, Nicole J. Swarm of Philipsburg; one great grandson, Ethan Swarm and two great great grandchildren, Kellan and Ellyanna Swarm.  Phyllis was preceded in death by a son in law, William Lilyquist.

Phyllis was a member of the former St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Spring Mills, now New Hope Lutheran Church.  She was an animal lover and enjoyed flower gardening.  Every year she and her husband traveled to Canada for their annual fishing expedition. 

In accordance with Phyllis’s wishes, there are no public services.  Contributions in memory of Phyllis may be given to Pets Come First, 2451 General Potter Highway, Centre Hall, PA  16828.
