Robert C. Wagner

With his loving family by his side, Robert C. Wagner, of Reedsville, passed away on December 3, 2019 at Geisinger Lewistown.  He was 71.  Born February 14, 1948 in Bellefonte, Robert was a son of the late Dean K. and Dorothy A. (Knisely) Wagner.  On August 10 1993, Robert married Joanne Blyestone who survives. 

In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by two sons, Robert Wagner Jr (Ashley) and John Wagner; two daughters, Elizabeth Snyder (Mike Reed) and Crystal Barger (Todd); two sisters, Helen Grennan (Butch) of Andover, OH and Charlotte Mills of Painsville, OH, and eight grandchildren, Michael, Emily, Annelea, Faith, Avelon, Timothy, Raine and Harmony.  In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Reitz and one brother, Dean Wagner, Jr.

Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict.  He was employed as a forklift operator in the warehouse at Andover Industries in Moraine, OH.  He was of the Lutheran faith.  Robert was actively involved in numerous fire companies as a firefighter of 30 year plus working with fire police and EMS.  He was avid Ohio State football fan. 

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, December 7th from 9:30-11:30 am at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim, followed by the funeral service at 11:30 with Pastor Mike Covalt officiating.  Robert will be laid to rest in the Pine Hall Cemetery at a later date.
