Hulda M. (Banks) Tice

Hulda M. Tice, 56, of Spring Mills, passed away at her home on May 15, 2020.

Born February 11, 1964 in Huntingdon, Hulda was a daughter of the late Robert and Bertha (Hooper) Banks.  She was a 1982 graduate of Mount Union High School.  On May 1, 1983 she married Donald E. Tice, Sr. who survives at their home.

In addition to her husband, Hulda is survived by one daughter, Christal Simons of Spring Mills; one son, Donald E. Tice, Jr (Stephanie) of Julian; two sisters, Brenda Estep (Dennis) and Vicky Lantz (Tracy); one brother, Robert Banks (Pat), and, five grandchildren, Emily Hartman, Martina Hartman, Trevor Tice, Christopher Simons, Jr. and Hunter Simons.  Hulda was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathy and Dixie Banks.

Hulda loved to do crafting which included crocheting, making wreaths and, door stoppers.  She loved to collect anything with pigs and had an extensive pig collection.  Most of all Hulda loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, Hulda will be laid to rest in Sprucetown Cemetery, Upper Georges Valley Road during a private service.  Contributions in memory of Hulda may be given to Steven R. Neff Funeral Home.
