In her later years Connie enjoyed sharing her fond memories of Coburn, her original poetry and lyrics, her lovely voice, her photographs (especially the one with Loretta Lynn) and her recollections of singing in a group with her father and sister. She played BINGO frequently and almost always won! Connie liked her coffee with 2 creams. She dressed and accessorized herself daily - happiest when her hair was freshly done and her clothes and jewelry coordinated. She chose a select group of friends and had a routine visiting with each. She also extended herself to others in friendship. Connie was a very unique person, and will be missed.
