Owner
Marina Pusateri has been a resident of Millheim since she and her husband Anthony purchased the funeral home in October 2014. Upon her husband's death in 2016, she received a Widow's License from the Pennsylvania State Board of Funeral Directors.
She received her Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy in 1983 and worked as a respiratory therapist for 32 years. During that time, Marina graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BA in Social Work in 1998, then attended Marywood University and obtained her Master's Degree in Social Work in 1999.
In addition to being the owner of the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home, she is employed full time as a Mental Health Therapist for RISE Counseling, Inc. in State College.
Marina is available through the funeral home to provide grief support groups or to meet with bereaved family members on an individual basis.
Supervisor/Funeral Director
Joe joined the staff at Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in October, 2025, after Steve Neff expressed an interest in retiring.
Prior to moving to Millheim, Joe served as a licensed funeral director in Los Angeles, CA, before relocating to PA to become a caregiver for his "now" deceased elderly mother and disabled brother.
Joe is ecstatic about joining the funeral home team and establishing bonds with the folks in the Penns Valley Community.
Funeral Director
Steve and Brenda Neff purchased the funeral home in 1986 and have served the community for 40 years.
Steve is a graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. He went on to attend and graduate from Northhampton Community College with a diploma in Mortuary Science.
A five generation funeral director, Steve began his career at the Robert Neff funeral home in Howard.
Steve recently retired and is enjoying his free time around his home.
Office Manager
Felicia manages the day to day activities of the office. She has been with the funeral home since 2009.
She is a graduate of Penns Valley High School and has lived in the valley all her life. She and her cat, Bexley live in Centre Hall.
Funeral Attendant
Jim has been with the funeral home since 1999. He assists with funerals, viewings, bringing decedents into our care and other odd jobs around the funeral home.
Jim also sells headstones to be installed at local cemeteries. He currently lives in Millheim with this dog, Turbo.
Funeral Attendant
Elmer "Rusty" Long has been with the funeral home since 2011. He assists with funerals, viewings and bringing decedents into our care, plus other maintenance jobs around the funeral home.
Rusty lives in Millheim with his wife, Mary.
