From the moment I walked into their office, I felt comforted, first seeing the familiar faces of Steve Neff and Felicia Shultz and meeting the new funeral director, Joe Gallagher. Joe was very soft-spoken and easy to get along with. I felt like Ben was in good hands. He called me when he was ready to ‘work’ on Ben asking about his 3 day growth on his face and his goatee. What should he shave, I said nothing, because that was Ben. He worked with us on everything. Ben left behind a big baby, Izzadora, his Staffordshire Terrier, who was not dealing with this situation very well. Joe had me bring her up to the funeral home and hour before the first viewing was to start so she could have her closure. I feel like this really did help her. He made up some side tables with some of Ben’s fishing things, it was all beautiful, almost looked like a shrine!
